The Different between Asus 1005P and Asus 1005PE

All the spec are the same. But Asus 1005PE is sold at RM1499 while 1005P only RM1299. A RM300 different. Its a huge amount of money for a poor guy like me

I have check it several time after some research I found that the only different between these two model is

- 1005PE have greater battery life which is 14hours while 1005P only last 8hours
- 1005PE also comes with 500GB online storage

Finally last week I bought the 1005P at RM1299. So far it works fine. Startup only took about a minute. Not too slow. I just use the 1GB ram.

The only problem is the keyboard. The backspace is a bit hard to press. Looks like cheap keyboard to me .

Its been about 4 month i use the Asus 1005P.. so far no problem..very happy with the light weight small charger and the 5 hours battery life..does not have any heat problem

For me RM1200 is very cheap as compared to the laptop quality

asus service is quite okay..last week my brother laptop his asus a42jk due to harddisk failure

they dont ask many question..just give the replacement within 2 weeks..not so bad la i think
