For new investor yg mencari the best source for option trading I suggest you guys read this book Options As A Strategic Investment by Lawrence G. McMillan.

Cover call, cover put,straddles sume strategy mmg ade in this book. From basic things sampai yg very complicated. More important this book is easy to understands and comes with simple examples.

But I'm not really sure if we can trade options in Malaysia

For people who are not familiar with stock dont jump to the stock market and try to make huge return. The best way is to get used of it. How you do that?

Just sign in to online stock simulators.Like this one

Once you get profit from the simulator I think there is nothing could stop you from profiting in the real world
